Smartphones at Courtland

Please read the statutory guidance effective from 1 September 2026:

From September 2025, all primary schools in Barnet will prohibit smartphones, and 23 secondary schools will work towards a full ban during the school day to reduce their impact on education and student wellbeing. This policy is supported by Barnet Public Health and the Smartphone Free Childhood (SFC) charity. We allow basic phones for safety purposes.
