Book Week 2024

Author visit - Paula Harrison

All children had a workshop with Paula Harrison during the day and she also did a book signing.

Wooden Spoon Competition

Children chose their favourite book character and decorated a wooden spoon to represent the character. The spoon characters are displayed in school and there were prizes for the most creative spoon in each year group.

Dress-up Day

On Friday, children came to school wearing all black, no uniform. They wore the front covers that they had created during the week and took part in a whole school book cover parade in the afternoon.

Other activities

Other activities included: Teacher swaps to read a story; Y4 Starbooks Cafe ; Library Visit with Lucy Merritt and lots of other classroom fun.
